What CEAROX is
CEAROX develops ceiling-integrated air systems. Our product, the CX-PRO-580, combines three functions that normally occupy three separate places in a room: particle filtration with a HEPA H13 stage, gas and odor adsorption with a carbon filter module, and room lighting through a halo LED ring — all in a 580 mm disk that takes the position of a conventional ceiling fixture. Airflow is driven by an EC motor on anti-vibration mounts, and the unit is controlled wirelessly.
The design goal is simple to state and hard to achieve: put air treatment in the most useful position in a room — central, above furniture, out of reach of children and pets — without adding another appliance to the floor.
Why we publish guides as well as products
Air purification is an unusually difficult market for buyers. Specifications mix incompatible standards, "HEPA" appears on products that were never classified, room-size claims hide the air change rate they assume, and noise figures quietly refer to a fan speed nobody uses. We decided that the most useful thing we could publish alongside a product was the means to check it.
Our guide library therefore explains the engineering in plain language and with numbers: how filter classes are defined, how clean air delivery rate is measured, how to calculate what a room needs, how airflow and placement change the result, and what air purification cannot do. Every guide states its limits, and several of them explain how to verify a manufacturer's claim — including ours.
The guides are written and reviewed by the CEAROX engineering team. Technical statements are checked against the published standards and public sources listed at the end of each article, and we say so explicitly when a value depends on the specific installation rather than holding universally.
What we will not claim
- We do not present air purification as a medical device or a treatment. Our content is educational and follows our disclaimer.
- We do not present filtration as a substitute for ventilation. No HEPA or carbon filter reduces carbon dioxide.
- We do not use ozone-producing technologies, and we explain in our guide on active technologies why we take that position.
- We do not publish performance figures we cannot document. Where a number depends on test conditions, we say which conditions.
How we handle mistakes
Standards are revised, guidance changes and errors happen. If you find something in our guides that is out of date or wrong, write to office@cearox.com and tell us which page and which statement.
