Privacy policy
How we handle personal data on this website, including advertising cookies.
This policy explains how CEAROX LLC ("CEAROX", "we") processes personal data when you visit cearox.com, contact us or see advertising on this website. If you have a question about it, write to office@cearox.com.
1. Who is responsible
CEAROX LLC operates this website and decides why and how personal data is processed here. Contact: office@cearox.com.
2. Data you give us directly
When you use the contact form or email us, we receive your name, email address and the content of your message, plus anything else you choose to include. We use this to answer your enquiry, to maintain business correspondence and to keep records of what was agreed. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries, or the steps taken at your request before entering a contract.
The contact form includes a hidden anti-spam field. If it is completed — which normally only happens with automated bots — the message is discarded.
3. Data collected automatically
Like virtually all websites, our hosting provider records technical information when a page is requested: IP address, date and time, the page requested, HTTP status, referring page, browser and operating system identification. These server logs are used for operating the site, diagnosing faults and protecting against abuse, on the basis of our legitimate interest in a secure and functioning website.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. Our own site does not require cookies for its basic functions. Cookies may be set by:
- Google AdSense and its advertising partners, to deliver, limit, measure and — where permitted — personalise advertising;
- a consent management platform, to remember the choice you made about advertising cookies.
Details are in our cookie policy.
5. Advertising: Google AdSense
This website displays advertising through Google AdSense. The following disclosures apply:
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
- You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info/choices or, in Europe, at youronlinechoices.eu.
- How Google uses data from sites that use its services is described at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Where the law requires prior consent — for example in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland — advertising cookies are used only after you have made a choice through the consent message shown on the site. You can change that choice at any time; see the cookie policy.
6. Web fonts
Our pages load typefaces from Google Fonts. This means your browser requests font files from Google servers, and your IP address and browser information are transmitted to Google in the process. Google states that these requests are not used to identify individuals for advertising purposes.
7. Who else processes data
We use service providers who process data on our behalf or as independent controllers, specifically our web hosting provider (site operation, server logs, email delivery of form messages) and Google (advertising and web fonts, as described above). We do not sell personal data.
8. International transfers
Some of these providers are based outside the country where you live, including in the United States. Where data is transferred internationally, the provider's standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards apply.
9. How long we keep data
Enquiry correspondence is kept for as long as needed to handle the matter and to retain a reasonable business record; server logs are kept for the retention period applied by our hosting provider, typically a matter of weeks or months. Cookie lifetimes are set by the party placing the cookie and are described in the cookie policy.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to your personal data, correction of inaccurate data, deletion, restriction of processing, objection to processing based on legitimate interests, and data portability. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal. To exercise a right, write to office@cearox.com. If you believe we have handled your data improperly, you may also complain to the data protection authority in your country.
11. Children
This website is aimed at adults — homeowners, specifiers and professional buyers. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
12. Changes to this policy
We update this policy when our website, service providers or legal obligations change. The date at the top of this page shows the most recent revision.
