Cookie policy
What cookies are used on this website, why, and how to control them.
This policy explains what cookies are, which ones can be set when you visit cearox.com, and how to control them. It complements our privacy policy.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website, or a third party used by that website, stores in your browser. They can remember a setting, measure how a page is used, or support advertising. Similar technologies — local storage, pixels and SDK identifiers — are covered by this policy too.
Categories used on this website
| Category | Purpose | Set by | Consent required? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Security, load balancing and remembering your cookie choice | Our hosting provider and the consent tool | No — required for the site to work |
| Advertising | Delivering ads, limiting how often an ad is shown, measuring performance and, where permitted, personalising ads | Google and its advertising partners | Yes, where the law requires prior consent |
We do not currently run a separate web analytics service on this site. If that changes, this policy will be updated before the service is enabled.
Advertising cookies in detail
This site shows advertising through Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites.
You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings, and out of many other vendors at aboutads.info/choices or youronlinechoices.eu. Opting out does not remove advertising; it makes it non-personalised.
Consent, and how to change your mind
Visitors in regions where prior consent is required — including the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland — are shown a consent message before non-essential advertising cookies are used. Your choice is stored so you are not asked on every page. To change it, clear the site's cookies in your browser and reload the page, then make a new selection.
Managing cookies in your browser
Every major browser lets you view, block and delete cookies, usually under Settings → Privacy. You can block third-party cookies entirely, or delete stored cookies when you close the browser. Blocking cookies does not stop ads from appearing, and blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent parts of the site from working correctly.
